Meet Your Neighbors

We will meet with local authors,  musicians, chefs, wellness experts, financial experts, and more, as they share their talents and expertise on Zoom.

This project was made possible by the Pennsylvania Humanities Council.

George Whitehead, author

George, a local author, will discuss his book, "We Are You", a fun and upbeat book with short stories of immigrants from 14 countries and includes people with different backgrounds such as a University Chairman, Doctor, Realtor, Tutor, Hebrew Interpreter, Nurse, and a Police Officer. We also have the
marketing manager for PDC Machines, a Pennsylvania Company that won a DOE award for their work on the hydrogen fuel car project (car that runs on water).  Check out http://weru.global/ for more information.

Rodney Whittenberg,
 musician and film

Rodney will share his music and film productions dealing with social justice and harmony.  We will watch a short video and discuss how and why it was created and how you can create your own music videos.  Project includes teacher resources and more.
