For Teens

The North Wales Library offers teens a comfortable place
to meet, socialize and engage in STEM activites.

Our activities teach all age groups the value and enjoyment of exploring the world
through literature. Teens are welcome to join us for one of our teen programs
listed below or for some of our adult programs listed here.

Board Game Meetup 

Enjoy a variety of board games with friends on the second Saturday of every month. 
Adults and teens welcome.

Teen Advisory Board

This group of teens meets on the second Monday of every month to plan events for other teens and children at the library. If you're interested in joining the Teen Advisory Board,

Teen Advisory Board Meeting


November 11

7:00pm - 8:30pm

The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) meets to help plan events for teens at the library. If your interested in joining, contact Kate at 

Teen Agora with Dr. Merow


November 18


Teen Agora is the library's new teen philosophy club. Each meeting the teens discuss a different thought experiment or philosophical question with Dr. Merow. This club is for ages 15 to 18. Note: This meetings discussion will address the topic of abortion in an academic and respectful setting.

Lansdale Mardi Gras Parade


November 23


The North Wales Area Library will be participating in the Lansdale Mardi Gras Parade and we want you to join us! We welcome people to dress as their favorite literary character and walk with us in the parade. Registration is required by November 16.

Barnes and Nobles Day: Teen Book Selection 


December 11

6:00pm to 9:00pm

December 11 is Barnes & Noble day at the Barnes and Noble at 1271 Knapp Road, North Wales, PA 19454. From 6:00pm to 9:00pm teens can join us at Barnes & Noble to help pick out books that will be considered for addition to the Library's Young Adult collection. Free food will be provided.
