StoryWalk at North Wales

A StoryWalk® is a fun, educational activity that places a children’s story (literally a book taken apart) along a walking route in the community. Currently at the North Wales Area Library we have a StoryWalk® set up around the library, so you can walk around our gardens and around the library while reading a story. We periodically update the featured book to keep our StoryWalk® fresh and exciting. The StoryWalk® is up and ready to go, 24/7! You and your family can come to the library anytime to enjoy the StoryWalk®.

StoryWalk® was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and has developed with the help of Rachel Senechal, Kellogg-Hubbard Library.

Giggle, Giggle, Quack

Here's a review from a happy patron:

"Thank you so much for making the Freight Train such a fun exhibit!  We took my
Grandson, Simon, this morning, and he really enjoyed it.  Freight Train is one of his
favorite books and we even brought the book along... We even got to hear the train
whistle and see the top of it as it passed by quickly going through North Wales! I
think my husband was just as excited as Simon!"

After you've done one of our StoryWalks®, you can let us know and provide feedback on our online form. Your submissions will help let us know how popular the StoryWalk® is and help us improve the StoryWalk® in the future.
