  • If your library card says "North Wales Area Library" you can access  eResources through the "eResources" page on our website.

  • If your library card says "Montgomery County - Norristown Public Library" you must access eResources through the "eResources" page on MC-NPLs website.

 

Ancestry.com

Ancestry allows you to search U.S. census records, birth, marriage and death records, social security death records and immigration lists.

  • Click "Our Catalog" under the "Find a Book" tab at the top of the page. This will take you to the spark website.

  • On the spark page, click the my account button in the top right corner.

  • Enter your library card number and your password. The default password is the last four digits in your phone number. Click log in.

  • Click "Click here to access Ancestry Library Edition" in the middle of the page and you will now have access to ancestry.com!

Finding Your Way in PA is a Pennsylvania based mobile and desktop app designed to share services, resources, and information with young people and families, particularly those experiencing homelessness. While using the app, users can search for and request assistance with services and resources in their current location, local communities, and throughout PA to connect them with helpful supports.

Libby - Now Includes Magazines!

Libby allows you to browse hundreds of titles and download e-books and e-audio books directly to a smartphone, tablet or computer. Libby has partnered with RBDigital to expand their catalog to include over 3,000 titles. A library card is required to use Libby. 

Update on the OverDrive & Libby apps

Attention, OverDrive app users! OverDrive is discontinuing the legacy OverDrive app in early 2023 and transitioning users to the Libby app. Libby is OverDrive’s newer app for browsing and enjoying digital content from our library.

It’s time to give Libby a try! All your loans, holds, and wish list items will be waiting for you in Libby when you add your library card.

Libby also comes with new features we know you’ll love, like:

  • Tags to categorize books however you’d like—you can even sync your OverDrive wish list into a tag!

  • A central bookshelf for all loans and holds

  • Customizable notifications for ready holds, new magazine issues [include if your library offers magazines], and more

  • Compatibility with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Sonos speakers

  • Extra learning and entertainment resources, like [Fill in your library’s Extras offerings, like Qello, Universal Class, Kanopy, etc.]
