  • Coordinated Homeless Outreach Center (CHOC) - Homelessness

    • The Coordinated Homeless Outreach Center, the only year-round, 24/7, emergency housing service for single adults experiencing homelessness in Montgomery County, is a partnership between Montgomery County’s Office of Behavioral Health and Resources for Human Development. CHOC serves homeless adult men and women in Montgomery County. CHOC’s two wings include a day center where clients can meet with a caseworker, receive their mail, wash their clothes, apply for benefits, or attend group meetings; the smaller wing is a 50- to 80-bed overnight shelter. In addition to emergency shelter, CHOC provides street outreach, service counseling, transportation, rapid rehousing, meals, clothing, life skills and benefits counseling.

    • Laurel House is a comprehensive domestic violence agency serving individuals, families and communities throughout Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The mission of Laurel House is to advocate for and empower those impacted by domestic violence by providing crisis intervention, safe haven, supportive programs and resources. They also want to advance social change through preventative education and through community training and collaboration to foster a coordinated response to domestic abuse.

  • Manna on Main Street - Food Needs

    • Manna on Main Street is committed to ending hunger in the North Penn region by providing food, fulfilling social service and education needs, and conducting community outreach. Through a food pantry and soup kitchen, emergency financial aid, counseling and referrals, and education opportunities, they serve those in need with the hope “that everyone might be fed.”​

This location offers Intensive Outpatient programs for a variety of ages and focuses on helping individuals who need frequent sessions to maintain their abstinence. This location also offers partial day holistic programs for teens focusing on co-occurring disorders through their partner, The Light Program.

    • The Women’s Center of Montgomery County is a volunteer, community organization with a primary focus on freedom from domestic violence and other forms of abuse providing services which include:  a 24-hour domestic violence hotline; elder abuse counseling and supportive services, individualized peer and group domestic violence counseling; telephone counseling, information and referral; legal advocacy; court and hospital accompaniment; emergency relocation funding for victims of domestic violence, education, and outreach to the community and schools.
