Environmental Mobile Unit - Science in the Summer Program

Come join us for the Montgomery County Library Science in the Summer Program. We’ll be having the Environmental Mobile Unit, called the EMU Van, at our library for a fabulous field experience. We will be learning how to explore nature by examining the local environment, finding habitats, and looking at positive ways to interact with local wildlife. There will be footprint searches, insect inspection, soil study, water analysis and other fun science investigations. All students must have a hat and water bottle while sunscreen should be applied in advance. No food is allowed as we will be outside interacting with nature. Parent/Guardians may stay for the event but must sign students in and include a cell phone for contact. Please note the particulars of any allergy and if students will have an epi pen with them.
